About Us

The Service Catalogue was expanded through the addition of Circular Economy Services as part of the DECIDE project, an initiative funded by the Interreg Danube Region Programme and co-funded by the European Union. DECIDE (Digital Services for Circular Economy – A Toolbox for Regional Developers & SMEs) is a certified flagship project of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. It aims to empower SMEs, start-ups, and economic development organisations to embrace and implement circular economy practices.

Partner from ten different countries in the Danube Region participated in shaping the project. These countries are: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.

The original Smart City Services Catalogue was designed and created within the SENSORNERVES_DR project.

The project was initiated by Prof. Dr. Hertweck and is supported by his research group Service Science. The research group Service Science deals with the development, provision and continuous improvement of services for SMEs and service ecosystems.

Furthermore, experts from the Working Group on Digitisation (PA8) from countries such as Croatia, Romania, Austria and Serbia from the Danube region are involved in the development of the platform.
